Abhishek Dwivedi to play Maharana Pratap in Zee Tv's Jodha Akbar

Ekta Kapoor is set to introduce the same character in her historical show Jodha Akbar, which airs on Zee TV.

The part will be essayed by newbie Abhishek Dwivedi, who has featured in a lot of commercials in the past.

Says a source associated with the show, “Abhishek’s look test has been done and he has been approved by the channel and the makers. He will soon start shooting for the show.

This will be a pivotal track in the show, which also marks his acting debut. A huge drama will unfold with his introduction.”

It will be interesting to see how the new Maharana Pratap will fare since the viewers are already hooked to Faisal.
